Christian Smith is a Contemporary Composer and Multi-instrumentalist from Southern England. Working from his home studio in rural England, Christian uses acoustic instruments, ambient production elements, and orchestral instrumentation to create immersive and narrative driven original scores.

Commercially, Christian has composed music for clients that include The O2, Mercedes, as well as National / International Tourism campaigns on behalf of Visit UK and Visit Faroe Islands. His music most notably featured on a prominent commercial short for the UK city of Portsmouth. This video was commissioned and screened as a part of the International D-Day Commemorations where World Leaders and UK Royalty were in attendance.

Independently, Christian’s compositions have achieved global successes. His orchestral and cinematic scores have amassed over 1.5 million streams and he regularly features in Soundcloud’s viral charts, as well as Spotify curated playlists. Most recently his music has featured on the prominent Classical Radio Station, Scala, which has been tipped as a “game changer” in the Classical Music industry.
